I recently got an HTC Desire from US Cellular. I used to be very comfortable jailbreaking iTouches and iPhones years ago when it wasn't just a plug in and hit a button to jailbreak, so I figured I would give "rooting" a try. It is version .98 and since its US Cellular it is CDMA. I had trouble finding many good ways to root version .98. If anyone could point me in the direction of a site with a good tutorial, that would be very much appreciated! Also, I was curious if anyone knew if rooting it would in fact void my warranty.
