Hi- I am directing a musical production, and at the very beginning I want to project a short movie onto a backdrop. After the movie, I would like to have one of the characters run up and yank on the backdrop so it falls to the ground dramatically. It obviously will not be tied to a batten, but I am trying to think of how I could rig such a backdrop that can be pulled down. Velcro...maybe clips? I have seen this effect done before but it was quite a long time ago and I don't know how they rigged the drop. All ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thank you
