how to reverse yarn that gone fuzzy in the dryer?

I crocheted a beret, and then dyed it. To dry it I stuck it in the dryer (air only), but it still went a little bit fuzzy on me (doesn't pay to be impatient I guess...). Is there any way to reverse the fuzziness? Something I could wash it in, perhaps?

I doubt it, but it's worth a shot. ^^
