How to restore woodwork in a well kept 1991 Chevy Day Cruiser Van. Nice van.?

It's still shines we actually just spent 1,1000 dollars on it last week just to replace the air compressor and to fix a loud squeak now it runs with 0! I said 0 squeak! and A/C is cold again. The wood work inside is faded and my grandpa paid 20,000 CASH for it almost brand new so I would like to take care of it. How do I restore or make the wood work on the doors and compartments inside look new or better again? Varnish? what else idkk
