it is a fujitsu siemens amilo and think the number is this or model L7320GW.
I have read that if you press the F8 key while it is loading up it brings up an advanced boot option then that will give you the Repair your Computer option.
When i do that i get the windows advanced menu, with the options
SAFE MODE
SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING
SAFE MODE WITH COMMAND PROMPT
ENABLE BOOT LOGGING
ENABLE VGA MODE
LAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIGURATION
DIRECTORY SERVICES RESTORE MODE
DEBUGGING MODE
DISABLE AUTOMATIC RESTART
START WINDOWS NORMALLY
REBOOT
RETURN TO OS CHOICES MENU
have i come to the right menu to restore to factory settings and if so what do i press from here,
Thank you.
Also if this cannot be done can i use the back up discs from my own laptop which is an acer, as the fujitsu is my partners sons and he has no back up disc.
My partners son bought it of someone he knows but it never came with any discs or a manual. It used to work fine then he left it at work and when he picked it back up it didn't work properly
