how to reset my wireless Internet connections.?

On the router it should have a reset button.
Hold it for 10 seconds and it will reset.

How to reset my Internet connections. Don't know the correct procedure. It quit a few days ago and I am now using a wired connection now. I am using Ubuntu 10.01 as a OS. Have a new service Provider now also. NEW WAVE COMMUNICATIONS.
