how to reset a sidekick slide with different sim card?

Ok, My cousin gave me her sidekick slide, and everytime it goes off it says "Network data services are currently unavailable. Either your GPRS APN setting is incorrect or your account is not configured for GRPS", I want to know what can i do to make it work with my sim card
 
1 your simcard must be a T-Mobile Sim Card

#2 your phone plan must be set to a sidekick plan. The sidekicks use special APN servers and non sidekick plans wont work on it.
