How to replace left engine ALTERNATOR COVER of a 1999 Ducati 748?

My upcoming week on project is going to replace a damage left side engine alternator cover and replace with a use one. The use cover that I bought did not come with a water pump small cover. So I am going to replace the alternator cover and use the water pump cover from the damage alternator cover. The water pump small cover is not damage at all. My question is that, do I need to replace any thing other then use Three Bond liquid Gasket from Ducati for water pump cover and the alternator cover. Is there any other gasket or other small parts that are replaced when replacing the alternator cover? Also does anyone have any personal experience with this type of project, which will help to do the job easy?
 
Take it to the shop bro. I dont think youu should be playing mechanic with such an expensive bike.
