First remove the two screws holding the chrome cover on the caliper, then remove the bolts holding the caliper on the fork leg. At this point I use something aginst the disk to retract the pucks inside the caliper, be sure not to scratch the disk.
Also remove the cover from the fluid reservoir, take care to not push fluid back out, you might want to remove some of the fluid so you won't have a spill. The pads are held in place using two pins which are held in place by wire springs and a clip on the outsice end. Be sure to lube the pins with disk brake grease and put it back togather as you took it apart.
This would be a good time to replace the fluid. keep the reservoir full as you bleed the brakes so you don't get air in the lines. Bleed the fluid until you get clean fluid at the caliper. If you do not have a firm lever feel you have air in the line, bleed again.
How many miles did you get on the original pads? Mine were very thin at 9500 miles and I am not hard on the brakes.
Good luck with the project.
