Tried replacing the ball joint on my girlfriend chevy S10 today. Couldn't get the sucker out so I rented a ball joint press and it was too big to fit the ball joint stud. The press would have easily fit my F150 but does me no good on the S10.
Do they make a smaller press?
Did hit it with a hammer and there was no budge.. and I did check for spot welds and rivets.
Either way... there's not a lot of room to swing a hammer in an S10
