how to replace a lug nut on a 98 ford windstar (revised question)?

I know how to replace my broken lug stud. Now, there is a plate or brake drum on the back that is in the way. I need to remove or (hopefully) just rotate the back plate/drum but if I have to remove it, how difficult is that. How is it done? I worry mostly because I don't wanna screw up with brakes.

There is a huge nut in the center between the 5 lugs.

Could someone please explain

If it is the front wheel I would suggest you go to a brake shop and have it done. The huge nut holds the wheel bearings and the wheel on the spindle. If not replaced correctly you will have a very serious problem.
