I have a 2003 Ford Expedition, 5.4 liter. A spark plug became loose which stripped the header so we have to replace it. It is the left back header on the truck. Can anyone tell me how to change it and would it be an easy job to do. We took the truck to a mechanic and he wants to charge us 700 dollars. We are trying to save money cause times are tough. So if any one can tell us how we can change the header that would be great. Thanks so much.
Oh ok thats what I meant. the head needs to be changed cause its stripped and the spark plug wont stay. But you metiond you can rethread it. Is that a good thing to do and will it last? Also how would I go about rethreading the head? Thanks
