How to repair music & image files, corrupted by VIRUS?

I stored PICS & songs in portable HDD. After few months my bro attached that HDD in his PC, which was infected by a virus. well, now when I used HDD in my PC to get back my stored data (PICS & SONGS), the pics can't be viewed now and songs can't be played smoothly as normal should be, means sound comes broken.
My pics are so important, plz help.
 
You need to scan your whole computer with your anti virus. If it's not updated, then update it, and then scan. If the problem remains like before, then may be you are using a free anti virus, which is not giving you full support.

im sorry...but i dont think there is a way...

have u scan the HDD?? if theres no virus i think its not because of the viruses...

u know its not usually viruses attack files..when we scan and detect the virus, the antivirus will delete it and if its attached to files it will delete files too...

but thats..not in most cases...obviously not many virus attack files...furthermore, its mp3, audio...

okay heres the point, maybe it is corrupted because of failure of HDD or anything else...maybe u might wanna plug it in another pc...maybe u have to scan the disk using SCANDISK...but if this is not working...i think the files is gone for good...sorry...
