how to remove write protection on a cd with photos on it?

i had photos scanned and put onto a cd at tesco, i want to put these photos onto a memory card to show on a digital photo frame, but when i try to copy them it says they are write protected remove the write protection, how do i do this so can put these photos onto my digital photo frame
