I am currently on AIM 7.3.6.4 version.. Tried to every other method getting to strings.xml and trying to modify.. the problem is - no strings.xml? I went to c:/programfiles/aim/services/imapp/(my version)/resources/en-us - and in there.. I only see 2 .xml extensions which are tips and themes. Any idea of another method to stop that annoying flash ads on the bottom of buddylist window? Thanks for any info/help in advance. By the way please do not tell me to download aim ad hack.. not interested in it nor any other programs associated with it, thank you.
I also clicked and checked "Show hidden files and folders" in control panel/folder options.. still to no avail.. not showing any strings.xml... did run a search on it.. show no matches... did search on internet saying the same thing over and over again on how to do it with that file directory addresses....
