how to remove chat from my email account, I do not want to have to close it

everytime I check mail!? How to fully remove or stop Yahoo, chat from my email account, I do not want people chatting with me when I look at my mail? I am not a fan of yahoo chat, and do not like the new yahoo, I am paying for my accounts, for POP mail, and have to check them from work, and I don't need the test chat or other crap coming up at work on a Company network that does record everything on the screen with witness, has anyone figured out that this is just a way to Sale and load more advertising crap on the users!!!!
 
Just click on the Status on the Chat and choose Offline (in Classic version) or Sign Out IOf Chat (in all-new version) and the mail will remember your choice and until you won't change it you won't get any messages.
