The Oxymoron Is The Key.

I'm working on drills to increase my performance but one thing I cannot seemto overcome is the stress before a 100m sprint. As I crouch into position with the marker shouting, my heart begins to beat so much faster, blood draining from my intestines, scrotum shrinking and it is a very uncomfortable position. It even prompts me to think negatively about the outcome of the race and by the time I've realised that I should be thinking positively, the race would have already begun.
This kind of anxiety almost always slows down my take-off so I only accelerate to full speed later on in the race. What can I do to relax myself effectively or AT LEAST improve my take-off performance through psychological means?
