I have an Acer laptop bought about two years ago and it was pre-installed with a Windows Vista Home Premium. Aside from that, Acer Arcade Instant On was also installed into one of the hidden OEM partitions of my HDD. One thing about Acer Arcade Instant On is that you can execute it without booting up into Windows because it itself is an OS running on a Windows XP environment. When my laptop is off, I could access Acer Arcade Instant On exclusively by just pressing a special button in my laptop.
Last December, I upgraded into Windows 7 and I cannot seem to execute the Arcade Instant On anymore. Everytime I pressed the specialized button when my laptop is off, the computer boots up into Windows 7. I cannot access Arcade Instant On anymore. I decided to check the Arcade Instant On partition and the software is still intact. Is there a way to re-install Arcade Instant On so that Windows 7 recognizes it or just remap the Arcade button so that it functions like the way before? Thanks! I hope to utilize again the functionality of the software like it was before. Thanks again and have a goo day.
