How to register an international export business?

My partner and I are starting a jewelry export business based out of Thailand. I am a US citizen and my business partner is Australian. Do we need to register our business in one of those 2 countries? If so which is the better location to register it (ie. lower taxes etc)? Also our primary target market will be Australian and American citizens, if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance
