How to reformat my nokia X2-01 memory card?

I have downloaded some pics from computer and they got virus in my mobile memory card Nokia X2-01. How can i reformat my memory card or remove the virus cause when ever i go my photos and try to remove the pictures the mobile hangs and i cannot delete the pictures please help.
