how to recover lost xbox game saves?

ok i was transferring my stuff and i accidentally hit remove store device and that deleted everything but then i looked and all my data is on the thumb drive i was using to transfer but the xbox will read the thumb drive but wont read the data on it so im wondering how can i get my data back on my new xbox
