i have an xbox first gen that was modded by someone else about 4 years ago. i want to bring it up to date but when i FTP into it, the file structure isn't the same as all the other ones from online tutorials. Since I'm able to FTP into it, i shouldn't have to actually do the hard part of "hacking it" right? is there a program i can run on it or what? or even a file somewhere that has the whole E: drive of a XBMC modded xbox in one file that i can just overwrite my E: drive with. i want to get the latest build of XBMC on it so i can network with a windows vista computer.
it was previously soft modded and still is. i know that you can at more recent builds of xbmc to the "APPS" folder in the E: drive, the only problem is that i don't have an APPS folder. i found folders in a TDATA folder that look similar to the files in a recent build that i downloaded.
