In my textbook, the author quotes from another author and I would like to use the quote in a research paper that I am writing in APA format. I'm wondering if this is an acceptable way for it to be stated:
In his textbook, Henslin quotes William Sumner, who stated that, "One's own group is the center of everything, and all others are scaled and rated with reference to it" (1906).
with this being the reference at the end of the paper:
Sumner, W. G. (1906). Folkways: A Study in the Sociological Importance of Usages, Manners, Customs, Mores, and Morals. New York, NY: Ginn.
I'm wondering if I have to also put the page it appears in Henslin's text, and if so, where do I include this. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
