first thing to verify is did you put the cables back into the cable brackets on the carb. if so then the next thing to check is the piston(slide). on my 1980 tt250 i had to undo a retaining screw on the linkage that took the tension off the spring then i removed one of two screws on the piston(slide) to allow it to turn enough for me to get the pin in and out of the linkage . insalling it is reverse put the pin in put all screw in reconnect linkage to spring close carb and put cables on and into the brackets

I took the corroborator off of my late 70's Honda CB 125. I put it back on and now there is a lot of slack in the throttle cable. Is there a certain way you need to put the throttle, pin and piston back into the carb?
