How to put photos from Telus LG cellphone to my Macbook laptop?

My picture memory area in my Telus LG cellphone is 100% full and has been for some time. I have the wire to connect my laptop to my phone. However, I do not have the instructions for how to transfer my photos from my cellphone to my laptop.

Can anyone please help me?
