how to put a photo on a dvd?

in the august martha stewart magazine, theres a personal picture on a dvd. where can i upload/print a picture and put it on a dvd? are there places where i can print a picture on a stick and stick it on?

( in the magazine, it only says specialized cd/dvd labels from officedepot.com but i can't find it online)
