I am planning on opening a bar and I'm going to need to bring in one or several partners. I have a location, name, theme, and interior layout already planned and thought out. How can I pitch my ideas to potential financial partners and protect my ideas at the same time? What's stopping them from just listening to my pitch and then just doing it without me? At first, some type of contract comes to mind but I don't know how to word it and I can't afford to pay a lawyer to draw one up for me. Does anyone know if there is a web-site that I can go to and copy a contract and print it out or better yet is there anyone willing to type it out here at yahoo so that I can copy and print from here? Any help would be much appreciated and if I get my bar open I promise to invite you down for some free drinks!!! Thank you in advance to anyone that can help.
