I have a few credit cards with a zero balance that I haven't used in months. I was thinking how since they have no balance that there is no positive information being reported to Trans Union, Equifax or Experian.
So my question is this: If I use my credit card to buy dinner then pay it off online the following day, I know that will spawn a statement to be mailed. But the concern is that would that cause information to be reported to the credit bureau's? Or do I need to buy dinner, then let it stay on my card for 2 billing cycles so that I start to incur interest, then pay it off? I could cycle these cards one a month and barely use them. Is this a good plan?
