...all =)? I'm afraid I'm a Linux newbie.

I have learnt my way around the UI to go about every day use of the OS but me (being a bit of a tech freak) hates to know little about the more advanced parts of the OS.

I'm attempting to learn bash, but I'm asking for suggestions of things I should learn and/ or stuff I should know/ read.
