How to program LG remote to LG tv?

i bought an LG LED TV and I want to program the remote to the tv to change the channels with it instead of the direct tv one. Tnx.
PS-the manual says nothing on how to do it
 
i work at best buy selling tv's
you cant do that... best bet just use your direct tv remote to control your tv... its alot better.
sorry to hear you bought a lg... those leds are a big waste.

dont believe me? ive worked with tv for three years. i knows whats imsa talking about.
