how to present a writing folio for admission to a diploma course.?

I am putting together a folio of written pieces to apply for the Diploma of professional writing and editing, and I was just wondering if anyone could advise me as to how I should present it. Should I staple? I'd also like someones opinion on what to include. They've asked for a variety of pieces, four pages in total (altogether). I'm thinking two poems, an essay and two short stories (one horror and one comic). What do you think?
 
You have a good plan. I would only staple or clip if there was more than one page for each piece of writing.
