How to prepare oneself to becoming a nude sculpture model?

Find out what kind of pose he wants, standing, sitting, etc. Then practice being relatively still at least 20 minutes. (30 would be better) This was you will know what pose is comfortable and which are not, over a long period of time. It is a bit more difficult than it looks.
Visit the studio. Most are too hot or cold by visiting you will know if you need a heater or fan on you. Check out the modeling stand, if any. Make sure you have a piece of rug or blanket. Standing on a hard surface will kill you back. (I know from experience) If it is a reclining pose, make sure you have a large towel or blanket. Again sitting or reclining on a destroy your back.
Make sure you stay hydrated. It does help with concentration.
Don't stare at a spot, just look. Staring can make you loose balance.
Finally don't worry once you relax and start posing you will realize you are not just a naked person standing in a room but an inspiration to become a work of art.

Nude modeling is hard work, to hold still you should find a spot on the wall or what ever is in front of you and just look there, you will be cold , you body will hurt , the studio will be dirty,you should bring a robe ,to wear on your rest breaks,it is boring ,you are there to be studied ,not as his girl Friend,so as he works you will be ignored
