How to play WAV on Windows Media Player?

I can't play WAV files on my Windows Media Player version 11 on my laptop. I use the same version Windows Media Player on my desktop, and it does work there. What's the problem?!
 
Should play these if not then Windows Media Player is not the default player for WAV file association .

Open Windows Media Player, Click On Windows Media Player icon at the top in the corner>tools>options>look under the file types tab>put a check mark next to Windows audio file (wav)> click Ok

Now try the file

(usually I have all of the files types selected as I prefer Windows Media Player as the default player , however you may have another like itunes, realplayer , etc)
