How to play a game on 2 psp's at the same time.?

My brother and sister have both got a psp each and want to play a game that my brother has but my sister doesnt on 2 player. I dont have a clue how to connect them together and dont know if you need 2 have the same game in both psp's to do this. Please can someone give me a step by stap guide on how to do this and do i need 2 have 2 of the game to do this? Thanks x x x
