I'm a married student, that does not qualify for grants (because we both worked). We have both began working part time and moved in with family to lower our EFC to a more realist level, and to try to save up some money. We have both been in community college for the past three years and are looking to transfer to a 4 year university. I'm now completely frightened by the cost of tuition in my area, as even the local state university is $20,000 a year for tuition. The other more rural state schools are about half that but I would have to pay for housing then. I don't know... any suggestions for a couple that feel they are stuck in the middle?
