i've never used primer before, but i'm painting what is a now tan wall to a lighter color and so i was recommend to buy primer. which i did. (did i buy something un-needed)
my true question though is do i need to apply it just as i would a normal color and do the edges precisely or can i just use a roller and get pretty close?
also should it be thick or is one layer ok?
also, i'm using 3 colors in the room a dark accent wall and medium shade and then the 2 almost white walls. i was intending on using the primer on the walls i was painting the lightest of the shades, is that right? and do i need it for the other colors too?? like i said i've never used it the gentleman just said to use it on the walls i was intending on painting lighter than the current shade
