Im painting a picture of a fox in acrylic paint..and first off i can't draw fur, and this is my first time actually trying to paint it. I have no idea where to begin and don't want to ruin the picture i have made already.

Tips on how to make realistic fur? Something about a base coat then followed up by other colors to make fur? Kind of brush to use? Maybe an inexpensive good book i could purchase

I'd really appreciate a video to watch on how to do this
Sould i thin the paint? What do i use to thin acrylic paint?

You start with the darkest colors first then each subsequent color should be darkest and finishing with lightest for highlights. Use brushes going from thick (wide) for the base and gradually going to finest for the highlights.
