How to paint a car for cheap...but have it look halfway decent?

i'm buying an Isuzu pickup for $500, haha. I want to paint it a ridiculous color that really stands out, how can i do this for really cheap, but still have it look decent from 20 feet maybe? how bad does housepaint look on a car? spray paint?
 
Do not buy house paint it will not look good. All you need to do is go to autozone buy a few cans of spray primes spray your truck completely. then go on ebay and by the paint that has the clearcoat right in it with all the materials it should only cost about 160 dollars.
