How to not ache after going gym?

I worked on my legs at the gym very intensely and i was acheing for 3 days after. I want to go again on friday but i have a basketball game on satarday so what do i do so that i dont ache for satarday?
 
After you have exercised, stretch your muscles. Before you exercise you should warm up so you get rid of the lactic acid in your muscle so that you dont feel fatigue and there's less chance of injury. You should also do this after you exercise. Rest aswell but not for a long period of time.
