How to Motivate Myself to do Well in University?

I just started university this fall. I'm currently taking three courses (considered to be a full time student): intro to psychology, intro to sociology, and biology (all required except sociology). In high school, I was an honour roll student throughout (80%+).

I just wrote a biology midterm exam and found myself surprised at how little I actually know. The exam was 5 pages long with multiple choice questions, and was to be written within 50 minutes (completely different from my previous experiences with exams). By the end of the exam, I felt like I had failed it for sure. When the professor posted the answers online a few days later, I checked to compare to my answers. Most of the answers were wrong, and I'm sure I got between 45%-55%. The thing is, the exam supposedly wasn't that hard. The class average is 71%.

I have a psychology midterm exam next friday. After the biology exam, I'm stressed out, embarrassed of my bad grade, and unsure of my future in university. I realized I haven't been studying as much as I did in high school, but that's because I feel uninterested in the subjects I've taken (I know I have to take these courses though). How can I motivate myself to do well in university?

I'm studying to become a physical therapist.
