I want to apply for Federal Financial Aid since I will be a full time student in Jan. 2011.
My adjusted gross income was $29,509 for 2009 tax return jointly. My wife made only $100 of that.
I am currently full time employed, my wife is unemployed. I have one 3 years old daughter.
By the time I join College in Jan 2011, we will be both unemployed and have no income to support the family.
My question is
Do I need to quit working (become unemployed) before I start my FAFSA application to make sure that I get an adequate amount of living expenses with my loan? or do I get my living expenses in disregard to my employment status based on last year's tax return?
