the shift key? doesnt do anything..
you can go to options mark/unmark>>mark all >>delete
or if its one by one just hit the backspace (delete) key

Oh, my lord, newbs.
Hold the SHIFT key and press down your D-Pad/joystick to mark an item. A check mark will appear next to it. Move your cursor down while holding the shift key to mark multiple items.
I'm pretty sure this is in the manual. If your manual isn't in English, they're available in pdf format online. No excuses.
