how to make windows media player run again?

Hi All,

By mistake I executed the windows genuine notification and it reported that my copy of windows is not genuine and after this my windows media player stopped working.

earlier the version of my windows media player was 9.0 and now it is 11.0.

how can I make it work again and how to get rid of this windows genuine notification
 
Are you using a ligit copy of windows? I bought a Dell with Vista preloaded on it. When I tried to install SP1 I was locked out of my computer. I installed Ubuntu. I grow tired of MS's antics. If you have not tried Ubuntu I bet you will like it much better once you get the hand of it.

BTW uninstall Media player. There are plenty of other free media players.
