how to make sprint wifi card faster for xboxlive!!!!!?

im connected threw laptop and the sprint card gets a good signal but when i go to play online it starts off with a 3 bar when im plyin mw2 then it will go to a automatic 1 bar??? laggy!!! and suggestions plz!!!!!
