I want to make Musubi, but I don't have a Musubi Maker. Well Musubi looks kind of like sushi, so can I just use the bamboo mats used to make sushi? I have one of those. also can I make Musubi with things other than Spam?
For all of you who don't know Spam Musubi is a Hawaiian dish made from salted rice, seaweed, and spam. It essentially looks like sushi but does not qualify because it has salted rice and not vinegar based rice.
