pent-up, reveling, & unimpeded? I need a sentence for each of those words! Thanks!
They mean:
improvised-adj. intended, composed, or done without preparing before hand
taut-adj. tense; tight
spasmodic-adj. sudden, violdnt, and temporary
deftness-n. the quality of being skillful and held in
reveling-adj. taking great pleasure
unimpeded-adj. not obstructed; unblocked

Most of my work for this class has been improvised.
My teacher's muscles become taut after reading the first sentence.
The beat of her heart becomes spasmodic as her anger increases.
She wishes her students would exhibit as much deftness in their academics as they have in finding ways to slough off.
It is certain that there is no reveling in doing one's best to complete assignments.
Nevertheless, it is certain that this student will remain unimpeded in progressing toward graduation because of the No Chld Left Behind regulations.

He built an improvised shelter with cardboard boxes
a good laugh helps ease a taut situation
the earthquake was followed by spasmodic replicas
the artist carved away at the wood with deftness
reveling in the beauty of the sunset
she got rid of her high heels to run unimpeded
