My 4 yr old son and I just found a caterpillar crawling across our kitchen floor. We would like to keep it, I thought it would be neat for my son to see the caterpillar make a cocoon and turn into a butterfly (something we always did in my elementary classes as a child). I tried to look up online what I should put in this habitat, but it is early December in Maine and we no longer have living green leaves on trees. I was wondering if it still possible, and if anyone had any suggestions. Thanks!
