So I had a car accident last month and I really, really, REALLY need my bluetooth to work for this because I took most of the photos on my phone that i need to send to my attorney, and my bluetooth just doesn't seem to exist on my computer.
I know that I have to check if it's "on" by the green-bars on the bottom right place, (smartwi)
I swear i'm not an idiot when it comes to computers, i just have no idea how to turn on my bluetooth.
Also, i checked many times if the bluetooth on my phone works because I sent the photos to my friend and they received them, so it's definitely not my phone's issue.
So if you can help me, you're awesome.

Well I did what the first answerer suggested, but i couldn't find the arrows (green bars) that showed me the smartwi. I clicked on the arrow that pointed up and clicked on customize (the tastkbar) and even in the list of programs/devices that could be on the taskbar, there was no smartwi. Did it just dematerialize from my computer?!?!
