Hello, is there anyone knows how to make a validation to prevent a duplicate data inserted in the database? What i want is, if the fullname and Username inserted twice then the pop message will come out to tell user that the data already existed. For example, if the user insert the fullname which already existed then the pop message says "the user with the full name already existed", same thing happen if the Username inserted twice.

thank you for the feedback but what i want is to show the alert message, if user enter same fullname that already exist in db then the alert message will pop up, same thing happen if the user enter username that already existed, for example if the user enter same fullname then the msg says 'the fullname that you just entered already existed'. meanwhile, if the user enter same username then the msg says 'This username already taken'.
anyway, i really appreciate for help.. thanks again.
