How to make a show such as family guy, simpsons, etc.?

I am planning on starting an animated show like family guy, american dad, the simpsons, southpark, etc. Cutouts is the easiest way but that would be copying southpark. Drawing would be difficult and long, and clay is too complicated. What should I use to make my people? Also how do i develop a style of characters without copying what south park's, family guy's, and the simpon's characters? Thanks alot!

Sounds like your in a dilly of a pickle. Why don't you just make up characters based on you or people you know. No matter what you do its going to be difficult so draw, clay, or cut out based on what you can do the best.
